Statement issued by Wakefield Council regarding the re-opening of schools

Wakefield Council leader Denise Jeffery has today suggested that  'June is too soon for schools to reopen'. You can read the article from the Wakefield Express here.

As a Wakefield Council state maintained school, we will follow the direction of the council if they decide to keep schools closed. We are also following the discussions between the Unions and the government.
