Children throughout the year are involved in a wide range of projects, events and activities. Examples of our trips and visits can be seen in our gallery.
Year 4 took part in a week of 'Bikeability' road safety training on their bicycles. Key Stage 1 children had a visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park to compliment their topic on Africa. We also have had visits by Sports Coach during PE lessons and during after school clubs. Foundation Stage children have enjoyed visits from petting zoos, fun days and had their own hatchery to view young chickens.
Years 3 and 4 have been working on a programme 'Scratch' where through simple coding, they can create their own animation. They have thoroughly enjoyed this and have been able to continue these theme at home should they wish via an application for tablets. Examples of some of these activities can be viewed in our gallery. Check back regularly for updates.
