Monday 19th Jul (With Mrs Wood)

• Getting to know your teacher: small groups

- 9.00 – 9.20 – surnames A - D

- 9.30 – 9.50 – surnames F - L

- 10.10 – 10.30 – surnames M - P

- 11.00 – 11.20 – surnames R - W

• Followed by independent activity – “My Teacher is” worksheet and draw Mrs Wood

• Maths sheet 2 in maths booklet– addition and subtraction
• 1.15– 1.30 – whole class online Art – you will need to have a flower or a leaf from outside prior to lesson. You will also need a pencil and paper
• Additional activities: TT rockstars, mathletics, reading eggs and spelling shed

Tuesday 20th Jul (With Mrs Wood)

• 9.15 – 9.35 Whole class online – Discuss what the children enjoyed in Year 2 and what they can look forward to in year 3.
• Independent activity – “What I liked best about Year 2” and “Things I am looking forward to in Year 3
• 11.00 – 11.20 Whole class online – maths. Times tables activities with your teacher.
• Independent activity – Maths sheet 4 in maths booklet
• 1.15 – 1.30 whole class online – sharing a story
• We normally have PE on Tuesday afternoon. Try to stay active at home by joining in one of the video clips from GoNoodle or play a game outside. In September we will be doing Gymnastics and Tag Rugby.
• Additional activities: TT rockstars, mathletics, reading eggs and spelling shed

Thursday 22nd Jul (With Miss Hurndall)

• Independent activity – complete questions based on what we have read and discussed
• 10.30 – 10.50 Whole class online maths – recognised 2D shapes
• Independent activity – 2D shape colouring sheet
• 1.00 – 1.20 Whole class online Religion followed by independent activity.
• Additional activities: TT rockstars, mathletics, Reading Eggs, spelling shed

Friday 23rd Jul (With Miss Hurndall)

• Independent activity – Spot Mr Whoops’ Mistakes sheet
• 10.30 – 10.50 Whole class online maths - place value activities.
• Independent activity – place value booklet – 30 minutes
• 1.00– 1.20 – Whole class science focusing on how to stay healthy. Independent activity – design a poster all about ways to stay healthy.
