Wakefield Virtual Cross Country
The children in KS2 have taken part in a Wakefield School Games virtual cross-country event. The children ran 1200m during one of their PE sessions once a week for 6 weeks. They were encouraged to beat their personal best time and their best time was then entered into the Wakefield Schools Games event. We are really proud of all the children and they showed determination and fantastic team spirit as they ran each week in their year group teams.
We competed against 20 schools across Wakefield and 4 of our teams came first place and 1 team came 2nd place.
A big well done to everyone!
