Late Procedure 

The school day is from 8.50 a.m. until 3.15 p.m. for Reception and Key Stage 1 with Key Stage 2 children finishing at 3.30 p.m. Nursery children start their day at 8.45am.

The children are welcomed into school from 8.50 a.m. Children arriving at school after 9.00 a.m. or 1:00p.m. in the afternoons will receive a late mark. If children arrive after 9.00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. then they should access the building by the main entrance on Shepstye Road so that the office staff are aware that they are on site. Any child entering school after these times is recorded in a Late Book by one of the office staff.

Absence Procedure 

Please ensure that you contact the school as soon as you know your child is going to be absent. We have a dedicated absence line (01924 302965, Option 1) to advise your child's name, class and the reason for the absence. If your child is absent due to illness, please advise the nature of the illness for our records (n.b. the phrase 'not well' is not giving an indication of the nature of the illness).

Please complete a 'Notification of Absence' form (available to download below or pick up from the office) for anything other than a medical / dental appointment or illness e.g. family holidays / celebrations, etc.

Although most absences cannot be authorised, you are advising us in advance of your child/ren being absent from school.
