#4 - Mark Making

We have been exploring different mark making tools in Nursery.  As part of our topic our aim was to create a seaside picture. Some children painted waves to represent the water and some painted  'X's' to represent treasure. In Nursery we enjoy using the rollers, paintbrushes and sponges to create different effects and patterns on paper.

#34 - Woodland Wandering

A child in Nursery has enjoyed their time in the woods.  They have been playing with leaves, splashing in puddles and feeding the ducks.

#50 - Sea & Sand

A child in Nursery has visited the seaside and has enjoyed playing with the sand. She sang 'humpy dumpty' using pebbles in the sand and her toy sheep Timmy. She also played with the sand to see if she could cover the stone.

Lower Foundation have been reading 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'.  We have pretended to write letters from Goldilocks to say sorry for entering the Three Bears cottage.  We then put the letters inside an envelope, and some printed a stamp on the front.  We then put our letters in the class post box and are looking forward to hearing back from the Three Bears.

#35 Trip Trap, Trip Trap ...

After reading the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff we built our own bridges to go across the river.  We used different construction materials, worked together and shared ideas.  We were really proud of our bridge designs!

#19 Planting

We have enjoyed sowing our sunflower and runner beans in our outdoor planters this week.  We had some brilliant vocabulary being used.  We are really excited to see them grow!

#15 Dressing Up

We have enjoyed dressing and acting out the story of Saint George and the dragon.  We had some brave St. George's and some ferocious dragons!
