Some of our Y5 children have made a video, encouraging others to reach out to their family & friends during this difficult time of social isolation. Friendships and staying connected is so important for a child's emotional wellbeing. It helps them increase their self esteem, gives them confidence and ensures they do NOT feel alone. a friend is just 'one call away', one online hangout, one letter, one text.
Stay home, stay safe, stay connected. You can watch the video here.
We have recorded a very special message for everyone at home (thanks to Mr G). You can view it here.
Today we have had an eggciting day, we have all joined together to make a huge rainbow. After lunch we have made an eggcellent zoo!
We have drawn pictures for HMS Nightingale in London, to decorate the wards walls when it opens. You can view the photos here.
During these strange times, your child may understandably be unsettled or worried by what they see, read or hear in the news or online regarding coronavirus. As a parent or carer, it’s good to talk to them about how they are feeling and what is happening. We have added a wellbeing poster to our website that contains '9 Mental Health activities to do with your child' which you may find useful. You can view it here.
