Wakefield Council's Aspire Kidz Club’s Ultimate Summer Adventure is designed for children aged 8 to 12! The program, held at Aspire@The Park in Pontefract, will run from Monday 29th July to Friday 23rd August, offering an unforgettable summer experience filled with fun, creativity, and new friendships. For just £28 per day, your child will enjoy a full day of activities from 8am to 4pm,with breakfast and lunch included. Their daily schedule starts with an optional drop-off and breakfast from 8am to 9am, followed by a day packed with engaging and diverse activities, and concludes with pick-up at 4pm.

This year, they are offering HAF-Funded places for children who are in receipt of income-related free school meals. To qualify, you will need to provide proof of receipt of benefits. They are committed to ensuring that all children have the opportunity to participate in our enriching program. The activities include: Swimming, Climbing, Multi-sports, Tennis, Crafts, Cycling, Pottery and much more.

Ossett Cricket Club will be holding cricket courses during the school holidays 2024.

The courses are open to club members and non-members (including those associated with other Clubs), boys and girls aged 5 - 13, and will involve activities such as:

• Fielding, batting and bowling practices and games
• Group and net coaching
• Team games and competitions

Experience of cricket not necessary.

There will be a minimum of two fully qualified ECB coaches at each. All courses will take place at Ossett Cricket Club, Queen's Terrace, Dimple Wells Road, Ossett, WF5 8JT.

Course 1 Tuesday 23rd July to Thursday 25th July

Course 2 Tuesday 30th July to Thursday 1st August

Course 3 Tuesday 6th August to Thursday 8th August

Course 4 Tuesday 13th August to Thursday 15th August

Each course will run from 9am - 3pm each day.

The cost is £60 per course (£25 per day).

There are discounts for multiple bookings.

There will be numerous short breaks throughout the session so would ask that your child comes with plenty to drink. Please could you also supply your child with sun cream and a hat to wear. Cricket whites are not essential – tracksuit will be fine.

Girls Golf Rocks encourages beginner girls age 5 to18 to learn and play golf in a fun, friendly and a way that rocks. The program runs nationally across England and England Golf are supporting clubs and facilities during the 2024 season.
Low Laithes Golf Club is one of the Clubs joining this initiative and is passionate to help get more girls
into golf as an enjoyable sport and pastime.
The sessions will be run their 3 golf professionals who are all DBS checked.
